Altered Lantern

 Hello ! I picked up a small metal lantern in cream which was rather dull. Using Imagination Crafts wax in pink I covered all over lightly. I placed green card on the inside base and decorated the edges with green branch twig thingy's ! After adding some twigs I added a pinecone , tiny snowballs and some small Christmas baubles and a small glitter ball On top I sat a little gold bird.. On the outside I added a bell train and topped with sweet little flowers that came from I Am Roses. Another little bird was added to the top. I added a small light I made using Air Dry Clay I  used ink to distress it and put glitter in the window/light area. Using Snowtex I covered areas on the top of the lantern. Gift box

 Hi folks. Gift box for a Christmas gift. Using card I die cut the box then I die cut the poinsettia the banner and the stamped the pudding ! The pudding was fussy cut and coloured with water colour pens. The pudding and pretty banner die are magnolia. The poinsettia is Marianne design. Thanks for stopping by x

snowman tag

Hi folks. Tag made today. First I stamped the snowman and coloured areas lightly with watercolour pens(I couldn't leave him naked its cold !).

 Using a tiny snowman stamp i stamped over areas. I layered onto kraft card and used snowtex , pinecone and other embellishments. Thanks for stopping by x

Hi folks. Thanks for dropping in. Inspired by a blog hop by (Lady E )with amazing creations (I spent a happy few hours today. Lady E is such an inspiration her talents are never ending. Ill provide a link to Lady E Facebook (below post) if you wish to look.Its amazing how seeing other peoples work encourages you to try new things. I always rejoyce when filled with inspiration from others. had a wooden bobbin from thick ribbon I had used. I decided to use it to make a Winter scene. I used lots of different mediums which I will list below. To start I waxed the bobbin with Creative Expressions wax in Green. Around the edge I attached a branch stem. To finish I misted the whole thing with TH Distress spray in Picket Fence. 

Gold mesh . Twigs from florist shop .Snowballs from Docraft. Snowtex. Pinecones. Stamens from someplace online ! Wooden boot/socks and tree both from The Range ( xmas decorations section). The flowers I die cut then added caviar pearls to the centre , then I applied some Imagination crafts pearl medium mixed with water. The small peg penguin is also from The Range.

Hi folks. A festive tag made using kraft card I (die cut the tag) and scraps of paper from my leftover box. The small vintage image is from First Edition DP. I used Snowtex randomly. The flower was made with foamiran and I used tiny caviar beads for the centre, The leaf was also die cut the stamens , lace and pearl trim came from my collection. Using a red eyelet I created the hanging area and used ribbons to make a tie handle. Thanks for stopping by xx

Hi folks. Using Maja design papers today for this card. A multi star die was used to cut the star design in the paper. The large snowflake die was cut with kraft card then painted with metallic water colour paint. The wood snowflake was coated with sparkle overlay. Hi everyone I hope you are all crafting happily. Small shadow box coated with gesso then covered with creative inspirations wax. Inside the box was covered with paper in a wood effect. The tree and icicles were die cut from glitter foam. The snowballs are from Docrafts and the snowman was taken from Maja design papers. Around the top and bottom of the box were coated with Snowtex which Is one of my favourite ways to add snow ! Thanks for stopping by x

Another layout with a photo of my parents. The beautiful flowers came from I Am Roses (so many pretty colours ) and the DP was from my stash. The large pearl was also from my stash. The frame was from the Trinket Parlour and the sentiment was from Tim Holtz . The coloured scatter pebbles are from various stores.

Layout

Hi everyone. Previously I made a layout for a frame with a black and white photo of my parents. I have three in total to make for my sisters. So this is the second one. Using mountboard I covered with DP. Using TH distress ink I inked the edges (Vintage photo)Using flowers I made with tea dyed and coloured paper (sprayed with Moon Shadow) The centre is mixed coloured seed beads. I added one and die cut some leaf sprays for behind the flower. On the DP the image of the timer was crying out to have some "sand" so I used some tiny seed beads for the sand. The frame is made with air dry clay and I applied some Creative expressions opal wax in two different colours. The hearts I die cut the used an embossing folder to give texture. I also used the wax on these .Thanks' for stopping by x

White on White Christmas card. Inspired by the image at Jingle Belles Blog. The Tree was made with air dry clay and sprinkled with glamour dust. The poinsettia was cut from white velum. Behind the leaf spray was cut in white card, the snowflakes were cut from glitter card. I added card candi to finish.

Hi folks. I recently won these stamps in a competition. They came from a store called Bee Crafty They are fabulous !! Recently I started buying Distress Oxide Inks so this was a chance to play with them. I am scrap booking photos of my niece from her holiday in Iceland so this will go in the album.( these stamps are perfect for this !)

Box scene card

 Hi folks. I recently bought a John Next Door create a scene die. Hard work getting the hang of it, but good fun. Using crafters companion papers I created my MIL card for Christmas. The papers are so pretty i didn't need to add much. The poinsettia i made with foamiran and caviar beads .The Snow was die cut. I added berries and glossy accents areas (hard to see ) . On the inside I added some tiny snowballs. For the outside I again added glossy accents and I stamped the sentiment onto a spare piece of card the die cut and added foam squares to the back. I die cut small foam embellishment. The inside panel I attached a  pre cut  image that came with the DP.Thanks for stopping by xx
