violet canvas
Hi everyone. A 5 x 7 canvas in violet colours.I mixed deep violet with gesso for good coverage and a lighter shade of violet. First i stencilled on the canvas then layered materials like netting/string twigs etc. Then i die cut a butterfly twice in thick board and stuck together for depth and so it would be sturdy.The leaves i also die cut. As each layer was added i coloured it and dried using my heat gun. To finish I added some sweet flowers and large round beads. I then speckled slightly with white gesso. Thanks for stopping by xx
