Cat Christmas

 Hi everyone. A sweet Christmas card using Stamperia paper that features some of my favourite things , Cats ! and pink. I just love this image. I have used a sparkle pen on the handbag (how cute is that) also on the flower centres. The stocking is a die from Docrafts. The roses were shop bought and i embellished the centres with a pro marker. The cats cute nose has been covered with Glossy accents . Thanks for stopping by xx

 Hi everyone. Tilda has been coloured with Noir pens and Derwent pencils. The design paper is from The Ribbon Girl. The roses are foam and are from hobbycraft. I added some cinnamon to add festive cheer. The bow and paper lace are from my stash. The little snowball are cotton and the sparkle ball is from a local store. Thanks for looking.

 Hi everyone. This card has been made for my mother in laws Christmas. The poinsettia die is from Marianne design, the card used for it was Crafters Companion Centura Pearl.. The pepperberries and cinnamon sticks are from local stores. The leaves have been die cut and the white ones have been lightly inked with TH distress ink.. The green stamens are glass and are very traditional looking.The star is made from wood and i wrapped some thin sisal around it.The ribbon is wired.The design paper is Docrafts - Christmas in the country.Thanks for stopping by

altered book

Hi everyone. This is my first altered mixed media book. (Thanks Suzie for the inspiration on yours)I went for the shabby chic look in pink and white. This project took longer than i expected due to the book i was using.The book was called: 211 Things a bright girl: can do  It was quite a read ! See at the bottom of this post for an idea of the content it gave me quite a giggle I,m kind of sorry i tore pages out ! To start with i tore out some pages then used white gesso to roughly cover it. I then used lots of various laces/ribbon and other materials to decorate. The large  flowers  i lightly touched with gesso. The roses i left alone as they were so pretty. The large butterfly is air dry clay (given by a friend Thank you Anne x) I lightly brushed this with sparkle pen and added a pearl.The centre beads (my bookmark) are from a chain of iridescent beads. I raised some of the pages as i glued them to give the book some shape. The outside cover of the book. i covered with paper from the inside cover of the book it was a pretty checked pattern . This altered box is a gift for my great niece for her bedroom.This was such fun to do.Thanks for stopping by xx

A small lantern from pound land ! I used fake snow inside and out.I glued a tiny Christmas tree inside and added a heart to the top of the tree.I die cut merry Christmas and glues to the outside. The small Santa was a sticker also added to the outside.Tiny tinsel was added around the top on the outside.

merry Christmas

Hi everyone ! Delighted to show you my card as guest designer at Country View Challenges. This months theme is Christmas so i made an easel card. I used fabulous duck egg coloured paper as my base. I then layered with a die cut frame  and die cut poinsettia in mulberry paper. The lace and pearls were from my stash.
