Box card

Hi folks. An exploding box card for a special birthday. I used paper from my stash and created a small round cake for the centre. The bow and balloon are die cuts the stars I received from a swap partner. The sentiment was die cut as was the numbers from pearl card stock. Not a flower in sight ! Thanks for stopping by.

Hi folks this was a build basket from The trinket parlour. I coloured with 13 arts dirty pink spray 13 arts patina bronze . The beautiful flowers are from  I am Roses (link below)The foliage is from my stash. The butterfly I die cut with pearl card stock. Thanks for stopping by xx

Sept IAR Challenge

Hi everyone. A picked up a few of these small horses from a local store. This one I covered with white gesso. Then I gave it 3 rough coats of white chalk paint. Using a sponge I dabbed the paint on roughly to give it an uneven look. One dry I sanded back some areas to give it a distressed look. Using a thick needle I scratched "hair" onto the tail. Using Autentico light brown wax I gave a good coat of wax, once dry I polished it. Using some beautiful small roses from I am Roses I created a chain around the neck area. I used a pearl for the eyes and a bronze embellishment as the saddle. Thanks for stopping by xx

Hi folks. I recently purchased an MDF wheel from Hobbilicious (They do amazing items for mixed media and altering) A whooping 30cm diameter a great size for wall art.. For this project I used two things I love , flowers and mixed media. My first coat was chalk paint in white. Then I sanded areas and highlighted with bronze patina.(13 Arts).Using 13 arts dirty pink I sprayed in random areas. Using various fabric flowers and foliage I created a floral area. I added some art stones for texture .To the centre I added a small wood décor piece also coated with chalk white. As soon as I get some lights I will add them. Thanks for stopping by xx
