heart Tilda

This card was for my youngest daughters birthday. I had to make it rather plain as she dislikes fussy cards ! I stamped the plain card background with a dragonfly stamp and Memento ink. I had some pretty paper in my stash so used this as backdrop. I inked and coloured Tilda using Noir and Derwent blending pencils(I used some glitter on the heart). To finish I added a small mint bow and some pearls.

Inspiration Destination Challenge

double sided pocket album

Hello ,this is a double sided album made using Crafters Companion Signature range card stock. Shabby Chic 300gsm card. I used a pocket die on most of the pages. Some pages were left blank to allow photo to be mounted if desired. The pockets have plenty of space for tags/tickets/mementos etc.

Blank pages will hold 6 x 4 photos.

 I have added tags of varied style and size.
Some small butterflies have been added here and there.

 Pockets will hold many pieces.
The cardstock was double sided and so pretty I had to use both sides !!

  The album was bound using double sided tape and wax string.
I used a heavy duty hole punch to make the holes for the string.

 Some of the tags and a small note pad.

 Glossy accents were used on some of the pages to accent parts of the image.

 More matts and tags

 This is the front of the album again glossy accents were used. I embellished using a small resin rose, die cut rose, mini butterfly. The album ties closed with ribbon.

Back of the album has been embellished with chipboard corners and flat back beading.

 This is the back outside cover. Wood frame in which photo can be placed into from the side .I love using wood frames ( becoming a bit of a trademark for me lol) on my albums I feel it gives more use to a back cover . Clear cabochons used for feet to protect the frame etc.

xmas easel card

This card was made using scrap papers from my stash ! The poinsettia is a Marianne design die. I added pearls and ribbon trim to decorate. Stamens in gold and a wooden tree complete the card.

Birthday box

Good day everyone.

I was asked to make a birthday box for a friend. I used Kanban Vintage paper and cut squares to layer around the inside. I die cut some butterflies and added a floral display to the centre. I added some bronze leaves to the floral arrangement. I die cut a sentiment tag "happy birthday" so that it could be added inside/outside or to a gift.The lid was decorated with crochet lace to the rim, a large bronze flower to which I attached a pearl flower centre.A small rose set it off nicely.

altered teacup

 Hello everyone. A friend asked me to alter a teacup and saucer from her late mothers tea set. This was to be a gift for her sister. I used artificial flowers of various colour and sizes. The small ones I added pearls to the centres. I added broken glass and Glamour dust to some of the larger flowers. Some pink berries were used along with glass pebbles/pearls/deep pink faceted beads. To complete I added small pearl strand around the teacup base and silver butterfly and bird set it off rather nicely.
ps I apologise for the lack of pristine photos but I was pushed for time and had to wrap it for delivering.

Mini album

Following a link provided by Astrid (Dawns mini album) I made this mini album. I added ribbon as a tie closer and die cut some mini cards to fit in the pockets. I inked a wood frame and stamped Your Unique to place under it.
